Mode of action

Cefpodoxime works by preventing the formation of bacterial cell covering , which is necessary for their survival. Thereby, kills the bacteria. Clavulanic acid works by decreasing bacterial resistance and enhancing the activity of cefpodoxime against the bacteria.

Cefpodoxime Proxetil works by stopping the growth of bacteria. Clavulanic Acid reduces resistance and enhances the activity of Cefpodoxime Proxetil against bacteria.

Directions for Use

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. StayHappi Cefpodoxime Proxetil+Clavulanic Acid 200mg/125mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Indication

• Acute bacterial exacerbations of chronic bronchitis
  • Acute community acquired Pneumonia
  • Upper and lower respiratory tract infections
  • Skin and soft tissue infections
  • Urinary tract infections
  • Pharyngitis and/or tonsillitis
  • General gonorrhea (men and women) and rectal gonococcal infections (women)
  • Acute maxillary sinusitis
